Your Pre-Conference Registration Includes:
Course materials, lunch, admission to the conference exhibit hall on 11/4/2012 and meet-and-greet social networking reception (immediately following the workshop). Registration does not include lodging. If you need lodging visit our website for best rates.
 
Attendance Fee: $98 early bird special until September 19, 2012. After September 19, 2012 regular registration will be $120 per attendee.
 
Event Location: The event will be held as part of the Pre-Conference activities for the Southeast Mine Safety and Health Conference at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Conference Center located at 4000 Grand Ave, Hoover, AL 35226.
 
 
About Earning Certification Points
ABIH CIH
Attending the Pre-Conference event contains 8 hours of technical contact time and may be eligible for ABIH CM credit in Category 4. See the ABIH web site for the CM credit criteria. ABIH awards conference attendance 0.5 point for each 3 hours of technical content attended by a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). The point types of IH, IH Ethics, Safety, and Management are assigned based on the subject matter (see http://www.abih.org/general/cmpointrequest.html#definitions). Taking part in other capacities beyond just attending can fall in to other ABIH credit Categories.
 
BCSP CSP, OHST, CLCS, CHST
 
Attending the Pre-Conference event may qualify for BCSP recertification points for 1 day in Category 6 credit. See the BCSP Recertification Guide for details, available for download on the BCSP website at www.bcsp.org. BCSP awards credit based on the length of participation of a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Safety and Health Technologists (OHST), Certified Loss Control Specialist (CLCS), and/or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification holder in a conference. Each day (6 hrs or more) of attendance earns 0.50 points per day of Category 6 credit. Taking part in other capacities beyond just attending can fall in to other BCSP credit Categories.
